PrintScan EFT Fingerprinting Service

Save money on digital fingerprints by paying through Detroit Armament, LLC instead of buying from PrintScan directly! When purchasing this service, there will be no additional fees from PrintScan or the UPS Store to have your .EFT File created.

With this service, you can obtain your fingerprints in a digital “.eft” file format. The EFT file can be used with eForm 4 and eForm 1 tax stamp applications on the ATF’s eForms website. You can keep the file saved and re-use it over and over, for as many tax stamp applications as you wish!

Steps to obtain your EFT Fingerprint File:

1. You will need to use the PrintScan Location Finder to find the location of the nearest PrintScan kiosk. If there is not a PrintScan kiosk within a convenient distance, you may consider the FD258-EFT Conversion Service instead.
2. Once you have decided on a PrintScan kiosk location, purchase this EFT Fingerprinting Service.
3. After purchase, you will be contacted to obtain the information needed to set up your appointment with the kiosk. This is a manual process and there may be a lead time.
4. You will be emailed a QR code
5. Scan this QR code when you arrive for your appointment at the PrintScan Kiosk
6. You will receive your EFT file via email after your appointment

Each purchase is good for one EFT File for one individual. If you need additional .EFT Files for additional “responsible person” individuals on your tax stamp application, you would need to purchase an additional service for each individual.

You cannot download the file from a mobile device. The file will need to be downloaded from a desktop or laptop computer. .EFT files can’t be altered after they are created. Any changes would require a new .EFT file to be purchased.
